This Is Spinal Tap follows England's aging, fictional heavy metal band, Spinal Tap, as documentary filmmaker Marty DiBergi chronicles their disastrous U.S. tour for their new album, "Smell the Glove," highlighting their dwindling crowds, bizarre stage antics (like amplifiers that go to eleven), creative clashes, and hilariously ill-fated drummers, all in a sharp parody of rockumentaries.
